Conservative Parliamentary List Candidate

Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you find it informative and accessible and are able to learn a little about me and why I think I can make a contribution to British politics.

Some 2½ years ago after having worked in the public sector and with a variety of community based organisations, I decided to enter the political fray, using the maxim, ‘if you want a job doing, do it yourself!’ Too often bureaucracy and maddening decisions were having a direct impact on the work I do with disadvantaged people and I believe that I can’t sit back and let other people wreck the country I love.

So, here I am! Parliamentary candidate for X Constituency in waiting! Last year I stood in the Welsh Assembly Elections and this year I was engaged in standing in the Conservative European selection process. I am looking for a constituency to defend; one that wants a stubborn voice that won’t give up. One that also wants a candidate who will make a difference following the maxim, actions (very often) speak louder than words.

My passion is speaking up for those who don’t have a voice. For many years I’ve worked with community and voluntary groups, in particular those that work with disabled people. This year my interest in voluntary work and making a difference took me to Rwanda with another 104 Conservative volunteers. Check out the video to see what can be achieved when the message of Conservative social action goes into action! If we can make that difference in one of the twenty poorest countries in the world, with a tragic history of genocide behind it, think what together we could do here?

This is the message I’ll bring to my constituency. I also want to hear what you think and would love to hear from you. The next election is our opportunity for change. Together, we can work to make our country a better place to live and work. Together, we can make that difference!
